Where does the money come from to pay the FriendSpend Rewards?

Businesses that accept Visa as a form of payment for non-PIN purchases pay a fee called interchange. With THAT Card, we use a portion of that interchange fee to pay FriendSpend Rewards to our Cardholders, similar to other cards that offer rewards.
