Typically, a bill for a product or service will count towards FriendSpend Rewards when you pay using your 16-digit card number. Examples of bill payments that will typically count towards FriendSpend Rewards are insurance bills, cell phone bills, utility bills, electric bills, water bills, gas bills, and cable/satellite bills using your 16-digit card number.
One way to look at it is if you are paying a bill for a previous purchase of a product or service, that bill will typically not count. Examples of this is a mortgage (previous purchase of a house), car note (previous purchase of a car), credit card (previous purchases) or a loan (the loan proceeds may have been used to make a purchase).
You can verify if a particular transaction made by you counted towards FriendSpend Rewards by logging into My Account using our website www.thatprepaidcard.com or mobile application and go to the Card Activity page.
Any purchase that was made using your Routing and DDA numbers do not count towards FriendSpend Rewards, and purchases categorized as cash or quasi-cash are not eligible for FriendSpend Rewards.
